THE FINISH, EXPLAINED

Nonstructural surface repair

Some concrete floors need localized attention before polishing, sealing, or coating. We assess surface imperfections and define nonstructural repair work around the selected finish. Corvanta’s decorative flooring scope does not include structural concrete repairs or slab pouring.

Where it fits

Floors with localized surface imperfections being prepared for decorative concrete or resinous flooring.

MAKE IT YOURS

Details worth discussing.

01

Define what needs attention

Identify localized surface damage and imperfections during the scope review.

02

Match the flooring system

Repair material and preparation need to be compatible with the finish that follows.

03

Set appearance expectations

A patch may remain visible, especially on exposed concrete. Color and texture matches are not guaranteed.

FROM FIRST LOOK TO FINISHED FLOOR

A clear path
for your project.

Every floor starts with a conversation about the slab, the space, and your expectations.

01

Assess

Review visible surface conditions and identify the limits of the flooring repair scope.

02

Prepare & patch

Prepare affected areas and use a repair approach suitable for the agreed finish.

03

Integrate

Allow the required cure and continue with the specified flooring preparation and finish.

BEFORE WE START

Know what to expect.

Moving cracks, settlement, moisture-related damage, and suspected structural issues may require evaluation by an appropriate specialist. A decorative patch is not a guarantee against future movement or cracking.
