THE FINISH, EXPLAINED

Dyed & stained concrete

Dyes and stains offer ways to introduce color to concrete, with the finishing method selected around your project. They are not interchangeable products, and a color sample does not guarantee that every slab will look the same.

Where it fits

Residential interiors, retail environments, offices, and design-focused spaces where natural variation is welcome.

MAKE IT YOURS

Details worth discussing.

01

Define your palette

We discuss the color direction and how it will work with the overall flooring system.

02

Expect variation

Porosity, prior treatments, repairs, and the concrete itself influence the way color develops across the floor.

03

Confirm with a sample

Where appropriate, a sample or mock-up helps establish the intended appearance before proceeding with the full area.

FROM FIRST LOOK TO FINISHED FLOOR

A clear path
for your project.

Every floor starts with a conversation about the slab, the space, and your expectations.

01

Set the direction

Review color references, slab history, and the intended finish.

02

Prepare & sample

Define preparation and any sample area needed to establish expectations.

03

Color & finish

Apply the chosen color treatment and complete the compatible flooring finish.

BEFORE WE START

Know what to expect.

Dye or stain will not reliably hide patches, cracks, or existing discoloration. Interior and exterior suitability depends on the chosen product. A sample on your own slab is the best starting point for agreeing on the color and overall appearance.
